Charlie

Last year I adopted the most beautiful dog from Australian Working Dog Rescue. She took a couple of months to settle in but is now part of the family and has wheedled her way into everyone's hearts. She has a terrific temperament and her playful side is now starting to appear.

Charlie with my hubby .................

Playing with one of her toys ................. she is really gentle with all her toys and doesn't actually chew or bite but just mouths them.

In bed with her toy ..................................

To begin with I struggled to take her for walks, even with a check chain and was beginning to despair of having another 'walking buddy' as our other dogs used to just trot along beside me. My hands / arms just can't cope with a dog pulling however I started using a Halti which has made so much difference. We still have the occasional differences of opinion but usually our walks are enjoyable.

Tired out after our morning walk ...............

She is terrified of storms though as will climb up onto whatever she can to try and hide. I've found her in a few places ....

She actually woke up a friend who was staying with us for a few months at 2:00am in the morning and climbed into bed with her .... lol .... this is a photo which Tania took. She didn't have the heart to tell her to get down. Notice the bump at the end of the bed. This is one of her dogs who had buried himself under the blankets.

Daytime nap with one of Tania's grandkids. Charlie just loved having the boys come to visit and wouldn't leave their sides.

Hi to Everyone, thanks for browsing my blog. These are just my ramblings about nothing & everything happening in our little bit of Australia.

This year I will be sharing with you my love of paper craft.
